I'm an EE, so I get disgusted with the lack of expertise and poor
products there too, but often they are a good quick source for a few
items like I described. I can hit 2 stores on my commute home.
Another 3 are not that far outside that range. Convenience is
sometimes the higher priority. I just go in knowing that I have to
already know what I want, what it looks like, and often the RS part
number 'cuz even then they won't know what it is or what it's for.
