[Xastir] NOOOBIE with Questions

Chris,

I was a nooobie not long ago, and truth be told, I'm not much more than
a nooobie still. I have learned a couple of things about xastir and
using xastir.

I installed from a repository the first time. It resulted in numerous
problems. Since you can talk to the developers here and get excellent
and immediate help, it is easier for all when you are using the latest
version, which they are. So my advice is to skip the repository and
follow the How To for Fedora. These guys (on the reflector) are very
good at writing the How Tos and even better at helping you through the
install.

As a bonus, once you get the install taken care of, you will have a
great experience using xastir and have the satisfaction that you have
achieved something with Linux.

Good luck,
Rob
