Mint and Ubuntu are set up differently by default than PCLinuxOS.
PCLinuxOS isn't configured by default to use sudo.  Other OS's I've used
such as Mepis and Sidux (now Aptosid) do not use sudo by default, either.
 However, when you use 'su' to attain root privileges, they do not change
the current directory in the terminal.  Using 'su' does not necessarily mean
you have to worry about where you are.
