different than the original, so thanks to Curt for that

I'm not sure what that means.  Are you using aprx like I am?  If yes,
is it really in the Ubuntu repository so that it can be installed with
Synaptic?

Fyi, the auto-start script in /etc/init.d/ that's part of the new
HowTo is working fine for me.  The prolific usb to serial adapter has
quit on me a couple of times - just like someone else had reported on
the list.  I added a re-boot (in the middle of the night) once per
week in cron - hopefully that will take care of it.  With the ax25
startup script, re-boots are no problem.
