Curt,

I completely understand too many projects, too little time.
I purchased my 1-wire kit in 2005 and finally mounted it this week.

Programming is out of my league, but I am up for the challenge of
trying to patch OWW's arne to make it work. I can certainly try and see
what is going on in the code, read some documentation, and learn from
trial and error. What string does Xastir require? Doyou have the
variables?

When I telnet into the UDP port of OWW, I can see the
following string:
Trying ::1...
telnet: connect to address ::1:
Connection refused
Trying 127.0.0.1...
Connected to localhost.
Escape
character is '^]'.

I am assuming that most of the standard values are missing
on the parser. I see documentation on the OWW Sourcforge page on where
to add info into, I just need to know what Xastir requires on the
Network Wx port. Is it close to or the same as Weather-Display's
clientraw.txt file format as found here:
http://www.weather-watch.com/smf/index.php/topic,2186.msg14980.html#msg14980

Finally - I did upgrade from CVS tonight to 2.01. Strangly after I
did the upgrade, I started Xastir as I normally do, by typing 'xastir'
in my home directory. It still came up with 1.9.8. When I went to
/usr/local/bin and launced xastir , I was running 2.0.1. How did that
happen and how can I correct that problem.

Thanks for the help Curt.
If your willing to guilde me through some of the process, I'll certainly
try my best to work the coding and possibly learn something in the
process.
