I'm just about to commit some changes to the NWS alert code (Courtesy of Geoff, VK2XJG/VK8GG) to enable use of the Australian weather server. I have the changes running here now and they work well. As soon as I do a few tkdiff's and am satisfied that nothing else is broken I'll do that commit, probably this week.

We'd be happy to integrate more weather servers into the mix, but we key off certain types of strings to light up the alerts. The easiest is to emulate the NWS alert strings currently used on APRS-IS and tweak them a bit for France's alerts. We'll probably still need some Xastir code changes even so, but it will be easier to integrate.

Can send us the complete text for some alert packets to the list here so we can see what you're sending out?
