[Xastir] Segfault on indexing maps

That's easy to deal with.  Install gdal, then use "rgb2pct.py" (a python
script installed by gdal) to dither the 3-band, 24-bit color image (RGB) to an 
8-bit color map (pct = Pseudo Color Table).
