Assuming there are no "Xastir answers", you might check out XDA developers
site:
http://www.xda-developers.com/‎

They seem to address many different pieces of hardware.

Best regards,

Subject: [Xastir] Anyone do Xastir on a tablet?

Hi,

Went out and got a 2013 Nexus 7 with 32gb with the intention of getting a
linux distro on it.
Boy, do I hate the current Google stuff on it.  Found several distros and
learning the in's and outs
of loading  by doing a search.  Several distos out there  but I'm just
looking to see if
I can get Xastir operating and if it could access the internal GPS, that
would be icing on the cake.

At the risk of being a troll, has anyone put a linux distro on a Nexus 7
and run Xastir?
I had figured if I couldn't pull it off, I'd just use the device for web
stuff but I am paranoid
about all the "track me" stuff Google put in there with the Android OS.
Sorry if this is OT but if someone has pulled this off already, might
make it go easier on me.
I have a keyboard/folio/carrier for the device so that would make performing
the process easier.
