The 60 series does well with opentracker / tinytracker! You can get APRS 
positions on the map using NMEA serial input on the roud plug.

One more benefit (if they didn't change the plugs:) you can get the plug 
for the 60 series aftermarket.

The 2 standard AA Batteries also are very much preferred.
