[Xastir] Script to get weather from weewx to xastir?

Hi,

 

I am running xastir as an APRS iGate for several years now. It runs
practically unattended. On the same machine I have a weather station running
weewx (http://www.weewx.com/).

 

The weather station is a USB connected  Ambient Weather WS-2080.

 

Can I get the weather from weewx (or from the mysql database), convert it to
APRS format and transmit it using xastir?

 

Maybe there is a script already?
