Thanks for the ping.  This annoying "feature" of automake has bitten me in
other projects.  It's just a warning, and there's a bug in the implementation
and the "deprecated" feature won't go away until they fix that.

The bug is that enabling subdir-objects doesn't always solve this problem
if the project is doing funky stuff with $(SRCDIR) in its Makefiles, but 
Xastir isn't doing any of that, and the line above fixes everything.

I've committed this change, since it works in this case.
