And in case you're not a programmer, that L is to indicate that the
constant 7 should be treated as a long integer, as opposed to a normal
integer (a long int is often twice as many bits as an int).


And not to start a religious war, but as a coding style should that be
7L instead of 7l to avoid confusion with 71 if one isn't paying close
enough attention?
