[Xastir] locally stored OSM map file

Hi !

I have a locally stored map file. Using "file -k this-local-file" gives 
me "OpenStreetMap XML data\012- XML 1.0 document text\012- XML document, 
UTF-8 Unicode text\012-". According to osmium, it was generated by 
CGImap 0.1.0.

How can I use this file with Xastir ?
