I'm already annoyed by how long those fields are getting.  Please

Mine appears on startup, with a pink background while enabled, and
when I disable it there's no text.  I suspect that's a lesstif or
RedHat bug.  SuSE with OpenMotif works properly.

That's the only place it appears though, so we can't really remove
it.  It needs to be in a mouse menu so that we can click on a point.
I agree though that it is too easy to move yourself.  I did that
once by mistake.  Confirmation window would be nice.  I suppose
another possibility would be to have it in another menu which
enables the feature, then you click on where you want to move it.

I don't think I want to change that before release, but it'd be good
to add to the feature request list so it's not forgotten.
