Probably FreeBSD?  Might be Solaris.

We (meaning you?  hi hi) should probably rig up a dbfawk file for
all of the possible TigerLine files that have been converted to
Shapefiles.  Another option would be:  If an unknown file is
encountered, display the points/vectors/polygons, but don't display
the labels.

Once a dbfawk file is created for it, the proper labels will appear.

If we could have a catch-all for ANY shapefile that doesn't have a
dbfawk file for it, that'd be even better.  There are a lot of
Shapefiles available out there from local/county/state/federal
sources.

You've probably thought of all that already though.
