[Xastir-dev] Geotifs causing crashes

James,

	Did you do an "ldconfig" after the tiff-3.6.1 compile? You also need
sure be sure "/usr/local/lib" is in "/etc/ld.so.conf".  Can you verify
those; do a "make distclean" in the geotiff directory and then give it
another try?
