Curt, here is the state of things with me, trying to update xastir:
First, please look at this: after i did the new make and make
install, and ran xastir, i checked in the Help or About and it said
Xastir V. 1.1.4; libraries used: @(#)GNU/LessTif Version 2.1
Release 0.93.41.
Is your latest revision (with "receive with AGWPE") V. 1.1.4? If
not, then my make/install failed or isn't being run when i type
xastir &.
And it's not obvious to me how to tell xastir to use the agwpe. In
the interfaces dialog nothing appeared.
Also, on MAKE when it was finished i got the following:
[lots of stuff] ...
... /bin/ld: cannot find - llcms
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[2]: *** [xastir.exe] Error 1
make[2]: leaving directory '/home/Orrin Winton/src/xastir2/xastir/src'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory '/home/Orrin Winton/src/xastir2/xastir'
make: *** [all] Error 2
Then, on MAKE INSTALL finished & i got the following:
[lots of stuff] ...
... /bin/ld: cannot find - llcms
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[1]: *** [xastir.exe] Error 1
make[1]: leaving directory '/home/Orrin Winton/src/xastir2/xastir/src'
make: ***[install-recursive] Error 1
I wonder if having ImageMagick-5.5.6 in there is causing the error;
i seem to recall seeing a note saying don't use 5.5.6. If so, should
i get rid of ImageMagick-5.5.6 (all files? something in the config
or make files?).
Thanks for your help.
