1.2.1 is available for download now.

The problem with DOS-format APRS maps has been fixed in this latest
snapshot.  You can wait until tomorrow morning to get that fix via
the anon CVS server, or you can replace your map_dos.c file with the
one from the 1.2.1 snapshot.
