[Xastir] First Time CVS source

I'm familiar with CVS so I didn't have any trouble with getting the 
source. So I ran bootstrap.sh and configure. Make went fine as well, but 
make install didn't install the files under the /usr/local/share/xastir 
directory, it didn't even create it. All the directories were installed 
in /usr/local/share. The path of the install for maps was 
/usr/local/share//maps when make install was running.

Of course, manually moving stuff around gets it working, but what did I 
do wrong to mess up the install directory?
