[Xastir] Saving Map Chooser information (Automap)

Not really.  You could mess with permissions on directories/files,
putting the ones of interest in a different directory tree from the
others.  Set permissions to unreadable on the directory.

Correct.  Upgrade to Xastir 1.2.x and let us know whether you still
experience this problem.

Look in your ~/.xastir/config directory:  "map_index.sys".

Note that you might have to choose the "Reindex ALL Maps" menu item
on the new computer, at least if you're running the CVS version of
Xastir, 'cuz we just moved the Xastir heirarchy and you'll need to
fix up all your paths.  In fact, you may not be able to carry your
settings across because of this, unless you tweak one of the
migration scripts to tweak your paths in that file.
