[Xastir] USB on Linux for TNC

It is the latest RH Kernel without any modifications. It seems that I
have it somewhat working now as ttyUSB0 but now Xastir locks up when I
go into the interface properties.

I did do the permissions that I saw in the install guide, I guess just
follow the routine serial instructions. It is working with minicom just
fine.

The interface comes up and when I monitor the TNC port in Xastir I don't
see a thing. When I TX or the program first comes up I see port activity
on the TNC telling me that data is going in and out and also on the
adapter LED's.

I do not understand the lock up problem, and when I mean lock up I mean
EVERYTHING, I can't get anything to work and my keyboard and mouse are
unusable, they are PS2 not USB.

Any ideas, I was going to play some more and then go out to work but I
got a cell site off the air and have to head north about 1 hour. Was
hoping to track myself on RF to try it out I guess not this time.

By the way the interface is the Belkin USB PDA adapter. THe package says
USB Serial Adapter but the package also says For Palm and Pocket PC
handhelds. I don't think there is 1 bit of difference. In Windows it
works fine with the TNC and now it also seems to work fine with minicom
under Linux. Just want to be 100% sure it works with Xastir under Linux
before I start telling people to go get them. $6.99 is not a bad deal!
