[Xastir] Tiger is sweet but

Ok, I'm not sure what is different from my work machine and my laptop 
but I have 1.1.4 working with imagemagix on my old powerbook G3 and 
darn the Tiger maps look awesome. The fonts are great and they seem to 
follow the road much better than MacAPRS. And they're relatively fast. 
How are you doing this? It seems to take for ever to load/scroll on the 
same machine with MacAPRS but Xastir is flowing nicely.

Ok, here is the but, this is a laptop and I would like to take this on 
the road. Is there any way to do this yet with these smoking Tiger maps?
