Isn't the tone of this discussion getting a little heated?
There's a bunch of us on here who use and help with various linux
flavors. I don't see a need to feud or snarl about how things should or
should not be installed. A lot of work's gone into making xastir work
more'r less with th stock stuff and when someone finds that doesn't work
we go and help them fix it.
I get enough harsh commentary at work. I didn't know we had tenured
faculty on this list, too.
