If it's not part of the problem you're having, it soon will be.  Unix
programs are not fond of a space in a username.  Stick to eight
characters with no spaces and you'll be fine.  I'd avoid most
punctuation as well, just to be sure.

This is most likely caused by the space in the username.  Create
another user under Windows and try again using that username.
