[Xastir] Opentrac?

Subscribe to the OpenTrac mailing list and ask your questions about
the protocol there.  There's also the OpenTracker TNC, which is what
I'm running now in my vehicle.

Xastir has support for it if you're using the Serial KISS TNC
interface.  I haven't tried it yet on AX.25 kernel-mode interfaces
using KISS so I don't know if everything's in place there yet.
There's been some work done on the AGWPE interface recently which
will prepare it to receive OpenTrac, but it's not quite there yet
either.  AGWPE itself is able to receive it, but Xastir doesn't
throw the binary packets into the correct decoding routines yet.

Xastir receives the OpenTrac packets, converts them to APRS packets,
and displays them.  There are some OpenTrac things that can't be
represented via APRS packets, so you're losing a bit there.  Xastir
cannot transmit OpenTrac packets yet.
