[Xastir] Creating own vector maps?

If you want the most quality and flexibility, go with shapefiles. If you 
want the most portability, go with dosAPRS format, or if you don't need 
DOS compatibility, WinAPRS/MacAPRS format.

But truely, you can't beat Shapefiles + dbfawk for flexibility in Xastir.
