OK, I had some failures while trying to compile Xastir. I followed the
instructions on N1OFZ's site and had no problems running ./bootstrap.sh
or ./configure once I got all the proper libraries installed. But
while doing the "make" I got the following errors:
-----------------------------
ld: Undefined symbols:
_InitializeMagick
_CloneImageInfo
_CompressImageColormap
_ContrastImage
_DestroyImage
_DestroyImageInfo
_EqualizeImage
_GammaImage
_GetExceptionInfo
_GetImagePixels
_GetIndexes
_GetNumberColors
_GetOnePixel
_IsGrayImage
_IsMonochromeImage
_LevelImage
_MagickWarning
_ModulateImage
_NegateImage
_NormalizeImage
_PingImage
_ReadImage
_SyncImagePixels
make[3]: *** [xastir] Error 1
make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make: *** [all] Error 2
------------------
I think I am still having an ImageMagick problem....Yes? No?
The following is part of the output from the ./configure script:
------------------
checking for Magick-config... yes
./configure: line 1: Magick-config: command not found
./configure: line 13601: test: : integer expression expected
./configure: line 13603: test: : integer expression expected
./configure: line 13605: test: : integer expression expected
./configure: line 1: Magick-config: command not found
./configure: line 1: Magick-config: command not found
./configure: line 1: Magick-config: command not found
./configure: line 1: Magick-config: command not found
checking magick/api.h usability... yes
checking magick/api.h presence... yes
checking for magick/api.h... yes
checking for WriteImage in -lMagick... yes
-----------------
I have a feeling that whatever is causing these errors is causing the
errors above.....
