Shouldn't be much to it; I've been using geotiff support ~forever. The 
only trick is getting link order right if you include gdal and geotiff, 
and I think we fixed that.

Doing so is slightly unfriendly, one might be installing while using a 
charge-per-packet network for instance. Of course asking first is hard 
with .pkgs.
