[Xastir] rpm

Hi all. I would like to build an rpm for Xastir. I use my desktop linux box
to compile and run Xastir and have the latest cvs source there. I also use
Xastir on my laptop and I think an RPM would be the easiest way to keep the
laptop up-to-date.

How can I build an RPM from my CVS tree? I tried: "rpm -bc xastir.spec",
but it wants "/usr/src/packages/SOURCES/xastir-1.3.1.tar.gz".

I guess I could tar and zip my CVS tree, but I am wondering if there is a
way around it. Thanks in advance,
