I did a config with the --with-dbfawk on the command line and it ignored it
completely. The Xastir version was the latest off of the website as of a few days
ago and I have built this before on a laptop sometime back and had a script that
would go down the entire sequence of packages and build each of them in the proper
order with all of the desired options turned on. I snagged that script and put it
over one the new machine and made the appropriate updates to work with the newer
versions of software and checked for errors.. Built everything one module at a time
checking for errors.. Nada... Zip.. It just does not produce function buttons that
work and dbfawk just never installs at all. I stripped out most everything except
what xastir cried about and that did not work either.... errrr.... I will try the
motif stuff next...

I will let you know what happens.

Thanks!
