You could put more stuff on there (like maps?), but you'd probably
want to mount it read-only unless you were updating your maps.

Problem is, if you have _either_ of your first two IDE drives as
flash, you won't be able to mount either one as read/write without a
custom kernel.  Just be prepared to do that.  They should have made
the code smarter so that it drops out the specific drive that is
flash, but they didn't.
