[Xastir] Where to look for serial TNS setup help

It doesn't even seem to get to the tnc-startup file.

The last thing it says (debugging level at 5):


Checking whether to retransmit any objects/items
Changing euid to 0 and egid to 0

Then it hangs.

And the tnc.log file just has a timestamp.. that's all.

I'm running xastir as root.
I ran minicom also as root.
The permissions on /dev/ttyS0 are

   0 crw-rw-rw-    1 root     uucp       4,  64 Apr 22 16:10 /dev/ttyS0
