[Xastir] Maps

Hi guys,

After giving up on learning Xastir/Linux a few years ago, I decided to 
try the Bootable CD by Harv, AI9NL but ran into the Map problem.. Also 
it seems I have to create a Persistance Folder, and it has to be in 
Fat32.. Heh heh, maybe I'm in over my head already...

I am using XP Pro on a 1.2 Pentium with 512 mb of memory, a little 
better than my 486 of bygone days..

Any suggestions from anyone that may have gone through this is more than 
welcome!  Thanks.
