[Xastir] Basic Maps for Xastir

I think we are over analyzing the problem. All I see that is currently
lacking is a simple set of basic maps. The Dos maps are very lightweight
347 kilobytes (NOT mega) total for world and regional US coverage.
Compressed they are only 221 KB.

All the command line options and GUI changes to enable the user to hide or
get rid of them is silly.

While I am all for making the new user experience better What is the
problem with including a minimal set of dos maps in the archive in such a
way the they are defaulted on initial start? The user can easily change it
if desired.

I mean lets get realistic the first thing you do with a new install is,
setup the program with call, location, and (drum roll please) your
preferred maps. Who cares if it starts with a blank map space verses some
simple maps most are going to change it anyway.

The minimal set that I would like to see is in a zip archive at:

Take a look.

Here is a link to some screen caps

You don't even have to install them to the hard drive both the zip archive
and the uncompressed files fit on a floppy with room to spare.
