a) AGWPE on a Windows box used with Xastir on the same or any other
box.

b) "soundmodem" on Solaris, configured as a serial KISS TNC. Xastir
running on Solaris.

c) "soundmodem" on Linux, configured as a serial KISS TNC or as an
AX.25 networking device. Xastir running on Linux.

We have users which run each of these configurations.
