[Xastir] Delimitative list of dependencies ?

I am not knocking XASTIR and it works well when it does install,
but from the point of view of installing, it is a real pain.

I had one of mates, who is quite computer literate just give up 
in frustration at the lack of includes and the missing packages.

I am a little more tolerant. I will try for days.
But even then it gets up my nose as well.

Is there a definitive list, and I don't mean the readme files,
and/or a register of install bugs and helpers, to get more people 
interested in what is a great program ?
