[Xastir] Default config save locations

Is there a way to modify the default save locations for Map Caching and the
config file?

We have been working on getting Xastir running on a live cd, using a usb
thumb drive to store settings. We have Slax 5.1.8.1 with Xastir integrated
and it works great using the 1.8.2 Slackware 11.0 packages.

The entire Xastir package with all dependencies are in 1 .mo file about 15
meg. You just re author your Slax ISO image, and put the Xastir .mo file in
the MODULES folder. Burn the ISO and it is there in the menu. Just launch it
and do the usual setup (station location, connections, etc..). I haven't
tested it with a direct tnc connection, only connecting to aprs-is and a
remote agwpe tnc.

If anyone is interested let me know and I can try and get the .mo file to
you. I don't have a way to host it here so if someone has some public space
available I could upload it somewhere.
