[Xastir] get-gnis script failure

I'll find a place for it.  I've been head-down playing sys-admin and 
politician on campus.  Off to SC07 for next week, so keeping up w/ 
e-mail may be a little trickier (I have 5 hrs of parsed logs to read 
each morning...) but I'll try to keep up.
