[Xastir] help with fine tuning xastir

Hello,

I have recently installed xastir in my computer. I am using fedora 8
and everything went smooth with the hot-to guide posted on the web.

When I run Xastir I got a warning like this:
festival_client: connect to server failed
SayText: Coun't open socket to Festival

How I can be sure that Festival is working, so xastir can connect to it?
