For a few years we were putting out a devel version at the beginning
and middle of each month.  Stable versions were 2 or 3 times a year.

We've backed off a lot (people got busy).

We doing something like a stable release per year at present.
Development has slowed down for a while.  I'm hoping to jump-start
it a bit since I will otherwise be bored for the next couple of
weeks, but we'll see how that goes.
