[Xastir] Mac OSx Problems..... please help if you can

I don't know if it is related but I'm also having trouble getting  
1.9.5 to run on my PPC Mac Mini (Tiger using LessTif from MacPorts).   
It compiles without problems, but when I try to run it I get "Error:  
Couldn't find per display information" and the window doesn't open.   
1.9.4 still works just fine (I have upgraded many of the MacPorts- 
installed programs since I compiled that version).
