[Xastir] Problem Configuring

Thanks for feedback Curt,
I am new to compiling anything, much less in Linux so I do not know 'RPM'
command is exactly.  I am using the './configure' command to build Xastir.
I understand xastir is not compiling yet.  (oh - yes I did type instead of
copy)

every time I try to run 'sudo' it asks me for a [sudo] password and none of
my passwords work.
