To follow up this one
Installed Ubuntu 9.04 and Xastir 1.9.4 = OK
Upgraded Ubuntu to 9.10, Xastir 1.9.4 = OK
Upgraded to Ubuntu 10.04, Xastir ??, = Not ok
I'm not sure what version I have of Xastir now because the upgrade from
9.10 to 10.04 told me that it will upgrade Xastir but it's not working
From what I can see it has finished indexing Maps when it goes down
with the whole session and I have to logon again.
I also deleted the hidden .xastir folder in my profile without any luck

I'l see if I can find another computer, to make sure it's not a problem
with the one I'm using now.
