Are you talking about a change in your copy of xastir, or the base
code? If the latter, I'd be against that.

Current humidity can be useful (here in the southeastern US) for
tracking a front (along with temperature), even if the reporting
station doesn't have an anemometer.

I'd certainly be open to_ additional_ functionality...
