[Xastir] Rainfall

Jason,

I'm looking to amend just my copy of xastir to suit a particular local
need.

By way of explanation, the Linux box providing the weather display for
presenters is locked away, with the screen being visible through a
window between the studio and the computer room. Presenters have no
access to the machine (to avoid the "fiddle factor") to be able to
access drop-down boxes containing rainfall information. I therefore need
to provide, on screen, the data they need and, rainfall is one such item.

With the town of Kempsey being on a major river system that has produced
two major floods, at least five moderate floods and countless minor
floods in 8 years, rainfall figures are more important than humidity. Of
course, both would be even better <grin>. Since, as already confessed, I
am not a programmer, I must stick to my own level of inexpertise!
