[Xastir] Tiger maps?

The version of Xastir I have is 1.9.4 I have shapefiles but I think 
that's for the weather.. I really did not want to upgrade if I had no 
reason to because I already had a hard enough time to get my tiny trak 4 
to work with xastir and Linux.
