Yep.  Install "libMagick".  Here are the ones I have installed on
OpenSuSE-11.3 64-bit:

     > rpm -qa | grep -i magick
     libMagick++3-6.6.1.0-4.1.1.x86_64
     GraphicsMagick-1.3.12-1.15.x86_64
     libMagickCore3-6.6.1.0-4.1.1.x86_64
     ImageMagick-6.6.1.0-4.1.1.x86_64
     libGraphicsMagick2-1.2.5-4.25.2.x86_64
     GraphicsMagick-devel-1.3.12-1.15.x86_64
     libGraphicsMagick3-1.3.12-1.15.x86_64
     libMagickWand1-6.4.3.6-5.5.1.x86_64
     ImageMagick-devel-6.6.1.0-4.1.1.x86_64
     libMagickWand3-6.6.1.0-4.1.1.x86_64
     libMagickCore1-6.4.3.6-5.5.1.x86_64

You don't need all of them, but that's my current list.

I usually install GraphicsMagick -and- ImageMagick, then Xastir will
use GM by default unless I tell it to use IM.  That way I can play
with either.
